I tried something else that just worked, although I can see your solution would work also. I didn't know I could declare the variable PUBLIC and use it in the report by referencing its variable name lcStartDate. I wonder if LOCAL variables can be used in a report also. I haven't tried that one, but I doubt that would work. So problem solved, but I will study your solution and see if that would work better. Thanks for helping me out.

I am not sure where Sauk Rapids is? My mother and sister are visiting relatives in Sioux Falls, SD this week and next. I have a cousin in the Twin Cities and one in Lacrosse, WI. And I was on the farm every summer near Pipestone, MN. I grew up in Huron, SD and was born in Sioux Falls, SD.
