Look at xBase if you think duplicating FoxPro would be difficult. xBase expropriated all the Clipper programmers when Computer Associates bought then torpedoed Clipper. Anyone who can tell the difference between xBase and Clipper 4 has got better vision than I.


I take it "xBase" is a product, not a generic term as you are using it.

I agree that it could be done. Not sure that anyone would make the investment.
