Could you post the grid code? You can view the .SCX in the Class Browser and cut and paste the grid and column definitions (bracket the code between the html < pre> *Code goes Here* < /pre> tags (w/o the spaces) for readability).

Otherwise, is there some difference in the controlsources? Are the two from a SQL-SELECT statement that is readonly, perhaps?
