Mat,

Great Plains is one that I am looking at - or at least plan to look at. Our software is operational management for advertsiing/marketing industry.

What I really want is an accounting system to FULLY INTEGRATE with ours so that I can sell the whole thing as "one product" - paying some sort of royalty to the accounting software company per sale . I prefer to partner with someone - not just be another VAR or reseller for them.

Short of that - if I have to take the reseller/VAR approach - I want someone who meets the following criteria:

1) Is easy technically to integrate with - this means basically that there is some sort of API - access to SQL stored Procs, etc. that would allow me to easily post to the GL, AR etc.
2) Is a solid company with a solid, mature, stable product.
3) Is easy to work with from a business/partnering standpoint
4) has an affordable product without the "Amway" approach of "getting" to sell it for them.
5) has solid developer/partner tech support system

Thanks,
Ken

>>Hi all,

What is necessary is the ability/right to read/write data to/from the backend from my own applications and to distribute the accounting system as an add on to my product - for a royalty of course.
