D/Ls had stopped working, it would hang periodically. I usually avoid betas on my Dev machine but figured I was at the point of a reinstall anyway, so why not? To my GREAT surprise, after install/uninstall IE5.01 works again!

Hey, Bill, I'm another one with that IE5.01 problem, I'm sure you recall - I'm just about desperate enough to try your new fix. That's a weird way to do it, but, what the hey, if it works < s > I'll put it near the top of my list of ideas I'm trying out to solve the IE problem.
