Yeah, but I can't
find the little devil. I look in my cmdGenID button, and I see all of the properties but nothing that identifies the variable itself.
I know I can cheat and place a ? lcIDValue in the code, but I was thinking there must be a way to find this in the object hierarchy. ---- Larry
