I have an appln. for which I want to run only one instance of it on the client machines 'coz when the users open mutiple copies of it, the maximum no. of connections to the server( the computer where the appln. is stored) exceeds the limit

I tried downloading run.exe from files section from this site
I changed the entries in run.ini file as:
[App Info]
Exe=myapp.exe
Title=MIS

and made a shortcut on my desktop pointing towards the run.exe file. I double-clicked the shortcut, but it opens multiple copies of the appn. if tried to open the appn. multiple times on the same machine.

The run.exe runs fine if the entries are for Notepad.exe i.e.
[App Info]
Exe=notepad.exe
Title=Untitled - Notepad

and notepad appn. is launched only once.

Pls suggest some soln. to this problem
