You have a few options.

1. If your needs are small, you can usually find the equations in a book, and coding up an equation can be faster than linking in a complex app that does more than you need. I have many of the equations if you want to do it that way.

2. Excel has a large number of financial functions built in, so if you don't want to code them, you can instantiate an invisible Excel object w/CreateObject and call its formulas. There is a gotcha here, though. The client has to have installed the financial options in Excel (can really kill their free demo when they download it and it won't work).
