FWIW, I ended up settling on adding text to my pictures, so I could place the text and pictures exactly as I wanted (VFP's command buttons are really pretty awful in this area). You give up resizing, and it takes a little more work, but you get to have the button look exactly the way you want.

>I know how to put a graphic on a command button using a .BMP file, but can I have words plus a graphic on a command button. If so, wouldn't the button have to be huge to hold both? I was thinking of making some nice looking buttons with a graphic above and words below on each command button. Is that a realistic proposition? Thanks for the advice.
