>The GotFocus of the textbox is the event in which you should determine the coordinates. If you tell us what you need them for we can p[robably tell you how to figure them out. You would need to use the grid's relativerow/rowheight and active column/column widths properties and then calculate the offset from the upper left corner of the grid.
Yes I did it.
But this formula gives coordinates only approximatly, not exactly.
Also some column can be removed interactivly, some columns left from the active column can be changed by user ( he resized them) , tab order of the columns can be changed and so on. My code works for only very simmple situation.
Did you see my previous message about index destruction in multiuser work, this fault on me drasticcaly like snow and did force me to leave VFP
Could you make favour
Take any table you have. Put it on the form environment
Set order at any of indexes, built on character field ( employee-lastname or something like that)
Use buff 3, have grid in form and couples fields with controlsorces.
Have button with code =tableupdate(.f.,.t.)
Make exe
Run form twice
( two samples of the form)
Edit one and same record, press save ( =tableupdate) at one form, press on the second form
Do you see anything strange in the grid. Any fake tweens, you will not be able to navigate through it)??
Please. Do it. After 4.5 years in VFP I am at crasy hous with very simmple thigs
I observe index content destruction!!!!
Thanks in advance. Vladimir. I ower you Russian linen table staff for this
