Hi John,
Not sure if your trying to do this in FP*2.6 or VFP but FWIW -- In 2.6, I used to (2.6) add a UDF to the READ WHEN that would display the BROWSE with NOWAIT and establish OKLs for 'push buttons' in the GET stack preceding the READ. Also a READ ACTIVATE UDF and READ DEACTIVATE UDF to handle a 'window' referenced by the BROWSE.
If you tring this in VFP...uh.....er..I dunno. Why not a grid though?
