Hello

Using VFP3, I do the following to bring data that start in ER from C:\ windows directory to table Dirs.dbf

!DIR C:\ER* /on /b > DIRS.TXT

APPEND FROM DIRS.TXT TYPE SDF

The problem is that command get only 8.3 file name where on long name I get filename~1.XXX instead of filenamethree.XXX.

How can I work around this problem???
