I use the DateFormat property set to 10-MDY and it automatically validates the date entered into a textbox such as 01/01/99. If 01/32/99 is entered it spits a message back to the data entry person.
Is there any command that works similarly for time formatting?
For instance, I want to enter the time as military time in the format 14:30:00 and automatically catch an invalid time as it is entered.
Note - I already have code in my time textbox in the Valid Event that checks Time validity, but I think a simpler shorter way would be
nicer...
like in the DateFormat property, where I don't need to write my own code to validate data entry of the date. I would hope there is something for time similarly. I could not find a TimeFormat property in the manuals. I guess I could make a class out of it and reuse it whenever I need to.
Why would they offer so many DateFormat properties and no TimeFormat properties. Am I missing something here?
Thanks for the answer ahead of time.
