Yeah, it's funny all right ... :-) I already tried removing the "Edit" menu functionality along with the SET SYSMENU stuff with no change. I'm a little unclear on what oApp references you wnat me to dump, if you'll clarify your meaning here I'll dump whatever I can to test it.

Interestingly if I include CLEAR PROGRAM in my Main.prg on the way out while shutting the app down, it works ok, just as if I issued it from the Command Window. Ok, a workaround ... but I want to know what and why in case it comes back in a more malevolent form or time. :-)
