I forget the app I saw. I was still at MEI. There was a big table with an index set. To Go Top took 2 to 3 seconds. A locate took much less than 1 second... I have not benchmarked this in a while. When working with VFP data, I tend to use Locate. Old habits die hard, and the performance is fine...
