Hi Ed,

Asking questions is difficult because I only have glimpses of what you are doing. But, you seem to have upset some people with the unbound controls, disdain for private DS, and other stuff that could be construed as non-standard.

That non-standard approach sometimes creeps into your opinions and problem-solving and, IMHO, causes confusion for less experienced developers. See? If you don't bind your data, fine. But most people do. And if you don't use private DS, fine, but again, most people do.

Personally, I would like to see your equivalent to DESI, the small complete app I uploaded here some weeks back. Just a few forms, a menu, and enough guts to be able to see it work. Not to critique it, but to see what your architecture's advantages and disadvantages are.
