I agree with you here. Several years ago I actually took a class on PowerBuilder. At the time VFP 3 was out and whenever I asked how to do something, she replyed that it was not built into powerbuilder and you would have to create the function yourself OR that is an advanced class topic. My questions were not nearly advanced as it could get and I remarked that it should be a basic functionality and the developer shouldn't have to design basic functions to work with the tool. I wonder why she got so defensive? ;)
