Hi Oscar

Try using:

="01006E"

You need the equal sign.


>I’m trying to assign (during design time) the string value 01006E to a property added to a custom object. The valued is forced to 1006 as soon as I hit enter or leave the properties sheet. If I quote this value , the quotation marks become part of the string which is useless to me as it it would be trying to assign this value at run time.
