Your message showed a TableUpdate(2) example, is that how you are doing the tableupdating?

If it is you need to read the help file for TableUpdate() and learn to use the other arguments also so VFP knows what it is you are trying to update.

TableUpdate([WhatRecords],[FORCE],;
[What Work Area],[Optional Array for Failed records])
