re: the question you asked in chat while i was elsewhere in UT
I am becoming a regular UT user. This is currently the single greatest resource for my job. I had some programming courses in college, landed a job as a database administrator ("we'll teach you Foxpro 2.6") and have since (<3 years) become an application developer (VFP5, and hoping to get upgraded to VFP6 now that i understand it's worth it to do so)
I find myself checking UT more than email. It's mesmerizing interface is so easy to use that i'm writing less of my own code, and just absorbing others' I have logged into UT to post a question, then forget what it was until i am current on the conversation and return to my problem in code. It's nuts.
I don't even remember who responded to my desparate plea (2 weeks ago?) for help on MSDN, but i'm very grateful to be here. I will probably convince our CIO to get me a membership (because its 1/1000th the cost a microsoft support incident- and far more timely & informative) in short...
