Hi all,

I'm posting this on Saturday morning with the hopes someone will see it over the weekend or 1st thing Monday and be able to help me.

I'm using SPT Cursors with VFP6 and SQL7 - I have all working perfectly - inserts, deletes, updates, @@identity, the whole nine yards. I now want to use a timestamp field and wheretype of 4 on my cursors. I create the timestamp field on the backend, make sure it's coming acroos to my cursor, and set my wheretype to 4. The problem is, that the where clasue on updates completely ignores the timestamp field - it just looks for the keyfield - as if the wheretype were set to 1.

The timestamp field is in my updatenamelist and I've tried it both in and out of the updatablefieldlist to no avail.

Is there something special I need to do beyond what I've described to get this to work? I notice that the timestamp field ends up as a memo field in my cursor - is this correct?

TIA!
Ken
