Help windows are run as a separate program from your VFP EXE. Can you change your Tip of the Week to run as a VFP window instead of a HLP file? Of course this would require a DBF or other lookup instead of an HLP file and you wouldn't have the existing hot links.

Alternatively, perhaps you could change the help system to the application help file when the user picks HELP from the menu or clicks F1? Or with any other menu choice?

Just ideas - sorry I don't have time to set up a similar system for testing.

>The opened Tip of the week appears in a standard Windows Help window and it clears when the user selects File, Exit. VFP continues to process the events so the main screen of the application opens behind the Tip's window. I need a way to trigger when the user closes the Tip's window or to stop VFP as long as the Tip's window is opened. But how?
