I am going to be using remote views against sql server data and desire to utilize the AS clause, ie Select "Field1" AS "FieldOne".

Subsequently I will be updating the backend server data from this view. I am wondering if this will be problematic? That is to say, will the remote view negotiate the update to the original fieldname or attempt to update data on the backend using the fieldname desgnated by the AS clause?
