>>Full object model? See De3lphi 5, really great! Use Tables, querys, databases, sessions, stored procedures and more like objets. Really extensible. See this in www.borland.com/delphi and download demo of Delphi 5 Enterprise..

>I do recommend Delphi for VFPers who want an additional tool to their arsenal. Easier to understand because it is full object oriented, really fast because it has a native code compilation engine. That's why MS recruited Delphi's chief engineer because it is a serious contender, if not the top, in the arena of software development. I've seen it and been playing with it. VB irritates me a lot and it's no fun to gamble on this crap product whom MS promotes rather than VFP which has the full capability to compete in OOP world.

I haven't done a lot of research on Delphi but it sounds interesting. Where are the best resources based on your experience to find solid unbiased information on Delphi and possibly some case studies on it's successes in the 'real world'?

Thanks for any info you can provide.
