Hi There !

I've just latched onto VFP. I used Clipper for 10 yrs but now it's DEAD (no matter what die-hard Clipperheads say).

I've chosen VFP because of it's xbase origins, though it's now totally object oriented and a truly evolved product.

I just wanna be sure I've chosen a product that's gonna be continued with. Heard some crazy rumours that Microsoft might be abandoning VFP & don't wanna go through the learning process again. It's pretty painful learning a new product.

Usually it's quite unlike Microsoft to abandon their products.

But I felt I should consult you Gurus on the web.
