Hi Loren,
Let me just add a thought to what David has said. You can name the resource file anything you want. For example, I have FPD 2.5, FPW 2.6a, and VFP 6.0 all running on the same machine, and all using the same configuration file. Each uses, however, a different resource file (FOXUSER.DBF, FOXUSERW.DBF, and VFPUSER.DBF). I set these and other environment specifics (initial directory, path, etc.) in a program called by COMMAND= in the configuration file. This allows me to check the version and make the necessary modifications to the environment.
