Hello,

I develop apps like corrective action, document control, etc. that send a lot of emails and lots of reports that notify users of past due stuff and the like. A few users have asked for the ability for the computer to notify them of items due without entering the program and running a report. Two approaches I thought of was

1.) Have a VFP or COM program run when windows 1st starts up and (somehow) notify the user of required activities.

2.) A classier approach would be to write to the user's calendar that something is due (like an appointment with notify turned on).

Any ideas on either approach would be appreciated.

Kevin

P.S. My company is giving away its ISO9000 corrective action software for the December holidays. Just go to www.jkt9000.com and download it. If you know someone who is doing ISO9000 or just needs an improvement program, let them know.
