>Using a communications library like SilverWare, you can dial-up and poll the buffers, or collect directly from a Comm port. Most communications librarys are fine under 2.6, but become limited or not useable as you move to Visual Foxpro. If you start with Visual Foxpro, you can use MSComm ocx to dial / poll a buffer, or collect directly.

Well i think the company is thinking about obtaining visual Foxpro 5.0 Actually i suggested they get it becuase the isn't a difference in cost. If what u say is true then that would make life a lot eaiser. I would only have to figure out how to use the Ocx properly.. As for the processing part of it. WE only want to cost the calls made to overseas numbers.. SO that shouldn't be all that difficult. I simply have to look at the area code call and use the time per minute cost to calculate.
I will still look into that silverware program though..
Thanks alot for the information.. I was a little worried about not be able to handle that part of it.. It is nice to see that they are people out there who are willing to help so easily..
Thanks again
