If you are dealing with VFP data, then I woudl suggest using the RSToCursor and CursorToRS methods of VFPCOM.DLL. Go to msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro for more details on what VFPCOM.DLL is.

I suggest you use an ADO Recordset to pass the data between forms. XML is another alternative, although I have not benchmarked how quickly those operations will occur based on large amounts of data.
