>OK. My statement regarding piracy; it's illegal, immoral and unethical in all circumstances. I do not accept arguments based on "situational ethics". It is black and white. There's nothing to debate, argue, banter back and forth about the topic. AFAIC, Walter's position on piracy is not acceptable to me. If I beleived as he did, and I shaved, I'd have trouble looking at myself in the mirror each morning. EOT.

Understand your position on the software licensing issue but don't you think the "Never be able to look at myself in the mirror" statement is a bit strong?

Let me ask you;

Have you ever exceeded a posted speed limit?
Ever parked in a area not designated for parking?
Crossed a street within city limits at any point other than a crosswalk?
If the IRS would review your tax returns for the last several years would
there be any disagreements?
Ever charged/billed a client slightly more time than actually worked?
Over estimated on the work required when submitting a proposal?
Been evasive when questioned?
Always 100% truthful?

I'm sure you will answer no to all these because everything is black and white isn't it? Unfortunately most live in a gray world.
