I just tried to use the Winsock control that is installed with SP3. No luck. After much digging, I believe this is because there is both a method and an event by the name of 'connect' and VFP doesn't distinguish between the two like VC++ and VB does(as far as I know). Does anyone know if there is any way I can use this control with VFP? The docs say that it can be used with VFP, but maybe not when you need to initiate a connection with it? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
