>We have just become accredited to sell and develop for this application in both its financial and manufacturing versions. On the whole the product now has a native SQL back end, but the development environment is not even at the point FPW 2.6 was 4 years ago. I am using VFP's COM capabilities to supplement the limitations in the product. Dont get me wrong, the product is about the best of the bunch I just feel it could be so much more.
Which version of navision do you use ? V2.01 ? Can you point out what the shortcomming are ?
About the SQL-backend. It seems to be a PIG solution Navision requires a heavy SQL server (About 1 GIG internal memory and about a dual PIII 600 or something).
