The same references that say there will be a VFP 7 and 8. VB is extremely strategic to MS and they will not jeopardize their HUGE investment in it. Will it get more OOP? Probably not. MS watched what happened to VFP developers as they tried to tackle OOP and MS does not want that to happen with VB. Also, VB would require a major rewrite to give it the same inheritance you have in VFP. It just ain't gonna happen...and VB 8 will exist...as will 9, 10, etc.
