Bob,

Yes - I am creating an SPT cursor, setting all the cursorsetprop() properties e.g. wheretype, updatenamelist, etc. and updating via tableupdate() which all works fine except for this timestamp issue. Remember - tablupdate does nothing but "wrap" sql update code anyway per settings in the cursor (or view).

The view and the SPT cursor are exactly the same. As an aside, Views do not "automatically" pull the timestamp - you have to specifiy it as you would any other field, and I do in both view and cursor. Hope this gives you the info.

Thanks - Ken

>>This is driving me nuts - I'm almost ready to write it off as a bug. It is, so far, the only thing that makes me regret not having used views instead of SPT. (if a solution can not be found)
