>NO, So your telling me that the user does not hit 'RETURN" but rather clicks on an 'OK' icon control button? So I created one but how do I make the "OK" button utilize the TABLEUPDATE() function?

Yes, this is a good approach to take. But, TABLEUPDATE() was a general word, you will probably want to call a Save() method that you will add to your form and do some specific validations and other stuff in it before doing the TABLEUPDATE().
