Dead and stagnant are not synonymous. While I agree VFP doesn't have the following of VB, it is not dead (yet.) I think seeing threads like this displayed can only have a negative effect on newcomers. Those of us who are die hards will continue to use it for a long time. Even so, I guess most of us are hedging our bets by learning new languages - (I'm learning VB because of the market share - no other reason.) However, I plan to use VFP for any data intensive applications for the forseeable future.
