Have an automation server created and am trying to implement it with the CREATEOBJECTEX() function. The test setup is a Win98 client connected to a test NT server. It appears that it is registered properly because the server object can be created locally when the 2nd parameter is "". When trying to insert the computer name parameter, we get an RPC error msg which indicates to me that either the client or the server cannot properly translate the server name. The call is using cProgID for the 1st parameter.

Would appreciate any type of a checklist of items to check on either or both the client and the server to accomodate the RPC error msg. Also, anything that anyone can add to this dilemma would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

PS Merry XMas to all of UT!
