Report NoData was exactly what I needed to contain the code:
Dim TEMPFLAG
TEMPFLAG = MsgBox("No BlueCard Records!", 0, "All Records already processed.")
Form!MAIN!cmdExportBC.Enabled = 0
End

and my Click became much shorter and sweeter...
...
DoCmd.OpenReport stDocName
. . .
