I used to work at a place where the ex VP/IS was a total moron who required everyone to use UI. Its a piece of crap. It generates a hugh amount of prg code that is highly generasized to work in Clipper, DBase, & Fox.
Any UI code you have will most certainly need to be rewritten. Even trying to look at the valid code to see how the old system works will be a hugh pain in the rear.

>I may be looking at converting an old Fox DOS system to VFP written using the UI utility. The UI utility basically is an interface for building fox screens and a data dictionary back then before 2.0 dos. It's a pretty cool tool but for that age only. I've never used it before. I think UI was written by the guy who wrote Clipper. Is there a way I can covert this stuff to fox dos 2.6 screen formats? Thanks in advance.
