It worked when assigning request("txtday") to its own variable first. I don't really want to assign everthing to variables in ASP as a work around, unless I have to.

I was trying that as well but I would get a VBScript error saying object not found. (meaning the request Object) I could access the request object the line before to access an item it was like the object didn't exist. I have been following Rick Strahl's "Using VFP COM objects with Active Server Pages" to a tee but I cannot get the values passed in or get the object passed in. Very Strange. This is a long shot but the development machine I am using has NT 4.0,SP6,IIS 4.0, could the SP6 have anything to do with it.
