Thanks, Jim. I think that did what I needed.

When I first tried it, I thought it didn't solve the problem. The text box was still selected. However, now data entered appears properly and it behaves correctly otherwise, so the result is satisfactory.

BTW, I enjoyed your presentation in KC recently at the MWFPUG. Thanks for coming!
