Yup, I could do that I suppose, but this is just for debugging, and I'm going for crude. I declared the variable as a public variable and that makes it accessible from anywhere. Maybe even through the firewall, who knows?
Interesting, that PRIVATE doesn't mean that you're scoping variables, it just allows you to use the same variable name in a routine that has been used elsewhere. Here I was thinking that PRIVATE actually meant LOCAL.
