So it's an intentional thing. Errors like "not a database file" or "File not a table" is obviously caused by technical problems and FOX error handler engine knows what it is. Try to observe technically caused errors that triggers "File is not a table" and it is the CDX that is corrupted causing it.

That's why we, VFPers, are clamoring for MS not putting security on VFP Database. But MS responses were very disappointing because they always push us on SQL Server which is not a good alternative for low-end projects. Poor VFPers. Grrrrrrr...
