I think we agree on this issue. My opinion is that if I can't totally protect my software fomr copying why would I want to irritate my users with a non-functional copy protection scheme at all. The theives will still get the software. The only people affected by the copy protection stuff are the ones who are my honest and valued customers and I don't really want to irritate them.
