I haven't worked with serial comm's in VFP yet, so I can't be of much help. Post your question to see if anyone else can help. I do know that any library that you would have used with FoxPro would need to be updated for use with VFP.

P.S. Has anyone heard of what happened to SilverWare/SilverFox? There phone line has been disconnected. Are they out of business?
