I envy the resources that MS put behind the VB product, look how long it takes for us to play catchup with the rest of Visual Studio development tools.
My primary development tools are VFP and VC++, using a combination of the environments and leveraging other technologies I can complete virtually any development task (At the moment!).
The bottom line is "use the right tools for the job", if VFP can't cut it then something else has to do the job and I wont lose any sleep over moving to other development tools.
