You might also want to look at the Strict Date discussion in Chapter 33 of the VFP documentation. The format used is {^yyyy-mm-dd}.

Was it a book or FoxTalk? I know you when over the rules on when it was interpreted or set and how it releates to Y2k. Any help would be appreciated.
