The letter started out: "Get of the fast track to Windows 2000-based development today." It advertised Visual Studio Enterprise Edition. Signed by Jon Roskill, Director, Developer Tools Marketing.

Both my boss and I got one. His came to his "other" address, so it wasn't directed only at VFP users. It may, however, been directed at folks with an academic license.
