>Brenda, unless the client system already had the VFP runtime and any ActiveX components needed installed, this approach won't work. Copying files is not an adquate installation of a VFP application. Your best bet would be to fire an install (maybe a Setup Wizard install) that triggers the desired app as the post-setup executable.

I want to send an xmas message to some friends and co-workers. It is not a production install. There are no ActiveX. Basically it is a form with some xmas graphics and music. You say the "VFP runtime", is that not the dlls? Would there be problem with me copying the .exe and dlls into their temp folder and executing out of that?
