If the apocalypse is coming (and I suppose it is, given an infinite amount of time) it sure won't come on Jan 1, 2000! What kind of supreme being is going to plan his apocalypse on man's calendar? That would be like man deciding the end of the world and God going along with it. Not a chance! I figure we have at least two years before we have to start worring again about the apocalypse.

Besides, if the average person new how often software failed every day, they wouldn't be worried. Why should a Y2K bug be any different than the thousands of bugs that cause problems everyday? Jan 1 will be just another day in paradise.
